Sample Essay
As is vividly depicted in the drawing, several citizens are happily exercising in a newly-built small park. More importantly, the bar chart below illustrates a dramatic increase in the number of parks in a certain city over the past three years. The figure rose steadily from 406 in 2020 to 532 in 2021, and further surged to 670 in 2022.
The implied meaning of this phenomenon is profound: it highlights the great importance the government attaches to improving people's living environments and promoting public health. With the rapid development of the economy, citizens have an increasing demand for high-quality public spaces to relieve pressure and keep fit. Building more parks not only provides accessible venues for physical exercise and recreation but also improves the ecological environment of the city. It is a clear reflection of the "people-oriented" development philosophy.
In my opinion, this encouraging trend is highly beneficial and should be continued. On the one hand, the government should continuously increase investment in public infrastructure and ensure the fair distribution of urban parks. On the other hand, as citizens, we should take full advantage of these facilities to cultivate a healthy lifestyle while consciously protecting the public environment. Only in this way can we build a more livable and harmonious society.
